RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Elisha, every garment is crafted with intention, care, and an unwavering commitment to quality. We want you to love what you receive. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are here to make it right.

Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. By placing an order with Elisha, you agree to the terms outlined below.


1. RETURN ELIGIBILITY

We accept returns on eligible items within 14 days of the delivery date. To qualify for a return, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Item must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • All original tags must be attached and intact
  • Item must be in its original packaging — tissue, hang tag, and pouch included
  • Item must be free from perfume, deodorant, makeup, or any other marks
  • Item must not have been altered, tailored, or adjusted in any way
  • Proof of purchase — your order confirmation email — must be provided

Returns that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer at their own cost.


2. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:

  • Items purchased during a sale, promotion, or discount event
  • Custom or made-to-order pieces
  • Accessories including scarves, brooches, and jewellery
  • Items marked as Final Sale at the time of purchase
  • Gift cards and store credits
  • Items that have been worn, washed, or altered

3. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To begin the return process, please follow these steps carefully:

Step 1 — Contact Us Email us at elisha.clothingindia@gmail within 14 days of receiving your order. Include the following:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for your return
  • Clear photographs of the item in its current condition

Step 2 — Await Approval Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days and respond with a decision. Returns without prior approval will not be accepted and may be returned to sender.

Step 3 — Ship the Item Once your return is approved, you will receive detailed instructions on how and where to send your item. Please ensure the item is securely packaged to avoid damage during transit. Elisha is not responsible for items lost or damaged during the return shipment.

Step 4 — Confirmation Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the outcome within 3-5 business days.


4. RETURN SHIPPING

Return shipping costs are assessed on a case by case basis depending on the reason for the return.

Elisha Covers Return Shipping When:

  • The item received was incorrect — wrong product, wrong size, wrong color
  • The item arrived damaged or defective
  • A manufacturing fault is confirmed upon inspection

Customer Covers Return Shipping When:

  • The return is due to a change of mind
  • The item does not fit as expected
  • The customer ordered the wrong size or color

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns. Elisha cannot be held responsible for returned items that are lost in transit without tracking.


5. REFUNDS

Once your return has been received and approved, you will be offered one of the following resolution options:

Option A — Refund to Original Payment Method A full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7-10 business days of return approval. Please note that your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Option B — Store Credit A store credit equal to the full purchase value of the returned item will be issued to your Elisha account. Store credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Option C — Exchange You may request an exchange for a different size or color of the same item, subject to availability. If the requested exchange item is unavailable, you will be offered a store credit or refund instead. Please note that exchanges for a completely different product are not available.

You will be asked to select your preferred resolution option when submitting your return request. Elisha reserves the right to assess each case individually and offer the most appropriate resolution.



6. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

We take quality extremely seriously. Every Elisha garment undergoes thorough inspection before it leaves our hands. However if you receive an item that is damaged or defective please contact us immediately.

  • Email elisha.clothingindia@gmail  within 48 hours of receiving your order
  • Include clear photographs showing the damage or defect
  • Include your order number and a brief description of the issue

Damaged or defective items reported after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for a full resolution. We will assess each case with care and fairness.


7. WRONG ITEM RECEIVED

If you received an item that is different from what you ordered we sincerely apologize. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at returns@elishaatelier.com with your order number and photographs of the item received. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent to you at no additional cost along with a prepaid return label for the incorrect item.


8. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of placement provided the order has not yet been processed or dispatched. To request a cancellation please email elisha.clothingindia@gmail  immediately with your number in the subject line.

Once an order has been processed or dispatched it cannot be cancelled. In this case you may initiate a return once the item is received subject to the terms of this policy.

Custom or made-to-order items cannot be cancelled once production has begun.


9. INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

For customers outside India please note the following:

  • International return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer in all cases unless the item is defective or incorrect
  • Elisha is not responsible for any customs duties import taxes or additional fees incurred during the return shipment
  • International refunds may take up to 14 business days to process due to banking and currency exchange timelines
  • Store credit is recommended for international returns as it is processed significantly faster

10. SIZING POLICY

We understand that sizing can be challenging when shopping online. To reduce the likelihood of size-related returns we offer the following:

  • A detailed size guide with exact measurements is available on every product page
  • Our team is available via WhatsApp and email for personalised sizing consultations before you place your order
  • We strongly encourage all customers to review the size guide and contact us with any questions before purchasing

Size-related returns are accepted within the standard 14-day window however return shipping in such cases is the customer's responsibility. We do not offer free returns for size-related issues which is why we encourage you to reach out before ordering.
